Getting to Piran

Vivoda Deluxe stands in the heart of Piran's old town, a pedestrian zone where cars cannot drive up to the door. Here is everything you need for a relaxed arrival — by plane, by car or with a private driver.

    By plane

    The nearest international airports to Piran are Trieste, Ljubljana, Venice and Pula.

    On request we arrange a private chauffeur-driven transfer from any of them straight to the house — no hire car, no parking and no searching for the address.

    By car

    Piran's old town is a pedestrian zone with restricted vehicle access (ZTL), so you cannot drive up to the house.

    Leave your car at the Fornače or Arze car park.

    From the car park to the house

    A bus runs from the Fornače and Arze car parks to the town centre; a ticket costs €1.

    From there you continue on foot: the house is just a 3-minute walk from Tartini Square, in the very heart of the old town.

    Let us know your arrival time and we'll gladly advise you on parking and the easiest way to the house.

    Private transfers and excursions

    Prefer to leave the driving to someone else? We arrange comfortable vehicles with a personal driver — for your arrival and for exploring the region.

    Popular guided excursions include Lake Bled, Postojna Cave, Lipica and Venice.

    Before you arrive

    Check-in is between 15:00 and 20:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability.

    Slovenian law requires us to register every guest, so please bring a valid ID card or passport for each person.
